Ability Tuning
Stasis Frost Armor
- Stasis overshield becoming official 3.0 keyword, Frost Armor
- Frost Armor provides stacking damage resistance
- 4.5% per stack in PVE (2% in PVP)
Stasis Aspects/Fragments
- Whisper of Rime changed to now max out Frost Armor stacks
- When using Grim, Tectonic, or Glacial Harvest Aspects, Stasis shards grant stack of Frost Armor and small amount of health
- Harvest Aspects now have a cooldown when shards generated too quickly
- Tectonic Harvest additional generates shards on killing frozen targets
- New Fragment, Whisper of Chill, gives stasis weapon kills a chance to create shards
- Whisper of Chains changed: defeating targets while having Frost Armor stacks has a chance to create shards
- Whisper of Fractures changed to grant Frost Armor stacks when shattering frozen targets with a melee
- Whisper of Torment changed to have grenade recharge not based on health (now flat 7%), and jumps to 12% with Frost Armor
- New Fragment, Whisper of Reversal: while wearing Frost Armor, dealing or receiving uncharged melee damage slows target/attacker
Stasis Shatter
- Increased base shatter PVE damage increased from 200 to 400
- Fixed bug where bosses could be hit by shatter twice
- Fixed damage display bug with players in their Super auto breaking out of freeze
Stasis Warlock
- Iceflare Bolts seaker cooldown activation increased from 5s to 7s
Stasis Hunter
- Winter's Shroud now gives class ability regen when slowing targets, and a small PVE damage reduction when activated
- Touch of Winter Glacier Grenade now forms 7 crystals, and takes .27s to build (rather than being instant)
- Touch of Winter Coldsnap Grenade changed where seekers now duplicate when freezing a target; additionally, 2nd and 3rd chain seekers create medium and large crystals respectively
- Silence and Squall travel speed increased by 10%, tornado slows down near targets to prevent overshooting, has 40% increased PVE damage, and time to freeze lowered from .8s to .5s
Stasis Titan
- Shiver Strike now has 10% increased PVE damage, a melee target cone increase of 50%, and tracking angle speed increased from 7 deg/s to 21 deg/s
- Glacial Quaker now automatically begins sprinting when throttling forward
- Cryoclasm now longer has sprint requirement and instead goes on 4s cooldown after an extended slide
- Diamond Lance detonation radius increased from 3.5m to 5m, slam radius increased from 6.75m to 8m (PVE only)
- Diamond Lance also shatters crystals upon impacy, has a reduced pickup interaction of .1s, and can be picked up from 3m away
Well of Radiance Rework
- Grants Radiant for 8 seconds when leaving well
- Healing per second lowered from 100 to 50
- Heal on cast increased from 20 to 300
- Reduced DR against non bosses from 40% to 20%
- Reduced DR against bosses from 40% to 10%
- DR unchanged against players
- Max orbs created from defeating targets in well increased from 4 to 5
Ward of Dawn Rework
- Armor of Light overshield replaced with full void overshield upon entering dome
- Armor of Light now grants 60% DR (30% in PVP) when in dome
- This about halfs the current PVP resistance and prevents stacking overshields with Bastion Barricades
- Standing near the dome generates a void overshield (similar rate as Bastion Barricade)
- Weapons of Light no longer provided (this will become trait of Helm of Saint 14 exotic)
- Caster of dome can generate additional orbs by killing enemies in or near dome with melee attacks
Super Recharge Times
- Supers will retain passive recharge times
- All supers will now gain the same amount of recharge from dealing damaging
- This should bring some parity to recharge rates in Crucible and encourage engagement
Arc Hunter
- Arc Staff heavy attacks now blind enemies
- Disorienting Blow base cooldown reduced from 100s to 90s
- Tempest Strike now has increased DR in PVE and lingers for a short time after attack
Arc Warlock
- Lightning Surge now has increased DR in PVE and lingers for a short time after attack
- Ball Lightning arming shape size increased by 30%
- Chain Lightning secondary projectile damage increased from 27 to 54
Arc Titan
- Thunderclap now has increased DR in PVE and lingers for a short time after attack
- Thunderclap minimum damage in PVE increased by 20%, and maximum damage increased by 33% (14% in PVP)
- Knockout powered melee bonus increased from 25% to 50% in PVE
- Knockout healing changed to grant chunk of health when defeating targets (30 for players, 50 for minors, 75 for majors, and 100 for Champion and above)
- Touch of Thunder Storm Grenade tracking speed now increases by 0.5s to 1s (depending on length of storm)
- Touch of Thunder Lightning Grenade now applies jolt after first damage event rather than before
Arc Grenades
- Storm grenade damage increased by 20% in PVE (doesn't affect Touch of Thunder)
- Skip grenade damage increased by 15% in PVE
- Arcbolt grenade damage increased by 15% in PVE
Arc Fragments
- Spark of Recharge regeneration bonus now continues until player reaches full shields
- Spark of Beacons additionally triggers on defeating targets with Arc power weapons while amplified
- Spark of Frequency additionally grants 15 stability on powered melee hits
Solar Hunter
- Lightweight knive now has 2 charges (does not stack with Ophidia's), is thrown 33% faster, and can be thrown back to back faster
- Knock Em Down cooldown on throwing knife refund reduced from 1s to .2s
- The strength of orbs generated from Golden Gun Marksman hits reduced from .75x to .5x (.4x for bosses, and .35x for bosses while wearing Star Eaters)
Solar Titan
- Concecration slam can now shatter Stasis crystals, has its Ignition damage increased by 20% (in PVE), and better hits floating targets
- Hammer of Sol projectile shrapnel count upped to 4 when detonated within .7s and 6 afterwards (always 3 when Sol Invictus equipped)
- Hammer of Sol projectile shrapnel damage also increased (again doesn't apply when using Sol Invictus)
Swarm Grenade
- Increased tracking shape from 4m to 6m
- Increased duration from 8s to 11s
- Increased PVE damage by 20%
Void Hunter
- Snare Bomb now lingers for 5s and applied small DOT to enemies in smoke (increases the longer they remain)
- Trapper's Ambush now lingers for 6s, also applies same DOT to enemies in smoke
- Stylish Executioner weaken effect can now be applied by Glaive melees
Void Titan
- Shield Throw bounces increased to 5, has a max lifetime of 4s, gets better tracking with each bounce, and has a 20% damage increase in PVE
- Offensive Bulwark can now only extend overshield time to max duration, and now regenerates piece of overshield with each melee kill
Void Warlock
- Chaos Accelerant Charged Magnetic Grenade has 10% increased knockback physics, 20% PVE damage increase, and a passive cooldown decrease of 10%
- Pocket Singularity detonation damage increased by 50% in PVE
- Nova Bomb Cataclysm seeker count increased from 4 to 6
- Nova Bomb Vortex now lingers 10s
Strand Thread of Warding
- Reduced woven mail duration on orb pickup from 10s to 5s
Strand Hunter
- Ensnarling Slam PVP detonation shape now a 6.5m cone instead of 8m sphere
- Threaded Spike PVP damage reduced from 79 to 70, and catching spike no longer breaks invisibility
Strand Warlock
- Weaver's Call now has a chance to generate Threadling when target defeated with strand damage (stronger enemy types give higher chance)
Grapple Tangles & Melee
- Tangling a grapple no longer refreshes its timer, but adds a flat 5s
- This reduces to 1s over 5 consecutive grapples to same tangle
Strand Titan
- Into the Fray melee regen scalar reduced from 4x to 3x (PVE only)
- Banner of War max timer reduced from 30s to 24s
- Synthoceps in Banner of War have reduced bonuses of 1.15x for melees, 1.125x for glaive melees, and 1.2x for Supers (originally 1.4x, 1.25x, and 1.4x respectively)
- Wormgod Caress in Banner of War have reduced bonuses of 1.1x for melees and 1.05x for glaive melees (originally 1.4x and 1.4x respectively)
- Frenzied Blade forward offset reduced from .4m to .18m to make easier to use in close range
Exotic Armor Tuning
Hunters
- Triton Vice now triggers detonation with Glaive's damage type and no longer requires matching subclass
- Triton Vice surrounded effect lingers for 5s after no longer being surrounded
- Dragons Shadow now procs off Ensaring Slam and new Ascension Arc aspects
- Foetracer damage bonus applies to weapons, and damage bonus tied to ability used, and not equipped subclass
- Sixth Coyote now creates orbs from ability final blows (similar to that of a Reaper mod)
- Renewal Grasps changed to award Frost Armor about every second while in duskfield
- Star Eater's Scales max orbs required increased from 4 to 6, and Golden Gun energy bonus from orbs reduced from 2% to 0.5%
Titan
- Ursa Furiosa now provides increased movement speed while guarding, and refunds Super based on damage absorbed with shiel
- Eternal Warrior no longer requires Arc subclass to trigger, just Arc finals blows
- Armamentarium additionally creates orbs on grenade final blows (similar to Firepower mod)
- Khepri's Horn solar blast damage increased by 100% in PVE, the blast scorches each time it hits a target, and also benefits from Ember of Eruption and Ashes
- Heart of Inmost Light has one consolidated status effect in the HUD
- Synthoceps Bionic Enhancements lingering effect decreased from 8s to 5s after no longer being surrounded
- Severance Enclosure explosions now require line of sight, and have reduced knockback to consistently launch enemies upward
Warlock
- Mantle of Battle Harmony now grants Super on kills (1,5%-4.5% depending on target), and no longer has a 2s cooldown
- Ballidorse Wrathweavers changed to award Frost Armor when using rift or Winter's Wrath shatter
- Secant Filaments additionally resets players Devour buff to 11s when reentering empowering rift
- Verity's Brow now requires final blows with weapon matching your grenade type
- Sunbracers solar grenade duration bonus reduced from +4s to +2s, and now max's out at 4 recharged grenades while effect active
- Cenotaph Mask now produces heavy ammo once per enemy (regardless of number of warlocks that target it), and target lock visual only appears for allies and not the wearer
Powered Melees and Armor
- Certain Armor effects like Combination Blow or Knockout trigger regardless of melee charge state
- Goal is to make all melee abilities these require powered melee charge to make balance easier
- Severance Enclosure and Assassins Cowl to only trigger their effects when a player spends a melee charge (or uses a finisher)
- More content to change towards this goal in the future
Exotic Artifice Upgrades
- Exotic armor can be upgraded after masterworked to become Artifice Armor
- Costs and exotic cipher and 10k glimmer
Ammo Finder
- Ammo Finders currently reset progress on death
- Makes them hard to rely on in end game content
- Changed to now keep progress through death
- Kill requirements for this increased by 20% to balance
- Requirement remains same in solo content
- Ammo Mods no longer work in PVP
Raid Mods
- Useful but difficult to fit into loadouts
- No longer will have a mod cost to them
New Vidocs/Trailer for Final Shape
BRAVE Weapon Drops
- This week, increased the drop rates and reputation gains
- Next week, doubling shiny drop rates
- Both bonuses end on Final Shape
Pathfinder
General
- New tree system to consolidate bounties, partrols, and weekly vendor challenges
- 20 objectives divided into 5 tiers
- Each objective node has an attached reward, all leading to one end reward
- Pathfinder trees can be reset (similar to vendors)
- This resets the tree and gives you new objectives and a new final reward
- Some objectives in new trees are randomly generated
- You can reset multiple times a week after completing a tree, but rewards diminish overtime
- Each weekly reset tree progress is lost and everyone is reset to the same new card
Where to Find
- Two pathfinders in Final Shape
- One replaces the bounty system and weekly challenges of the core ritual playlists
- The other unlocks in the Pale Heart and is tied to the campaign
- Ritual pathfinder covers Vanguard Strikes, Nightfalls, Onslaught, Gambit, and Crucible, instead of having a tree for each
- Some objectives can be done in any ritual activity, others may be more specific (Crucible based for instance)
- Weeks with reputation boosters will have more tree objectives featuring that activity type
- More improvements coming in the future to access these objectives easier mid activity
- The campaign tree will include destination objectives as well as a unique activity called Filed Assignments
Why Pathfinder
- Wanted to consolidate an already massive game with multiple activity systems
- The trees, tiers, and nodes, give more player choice on what they want to play and how they reach the end of each tree
- Pushes guardians towards challenging goals (especially in later tiers), but gives them freedom to take easier paths as well
- Objectives are already on you, so less time spent flying to the Helm, Tower, etc
Rewards
- Campaign pathfinder rewards [redacted] exotics, ritual engrams, reputation, and XP
- Ritual pathfinder rewards prime engrams, prisms, bright dust, and XP
Quests Tab and UI Improvements
- Players can now set any menu in the quest tab as a favorite
- Weekly milestones will now show up on quest tab as well (won't count against inventory limit)
- Tracked quests now sort to front of their respective menu
- Reputation boosters now appear next to the respective ritual activity
- Private Match UI improved for both Crucible and Gambit

Known Issues
- Capturing a zone in the Collision PvP game mode while having full Super energy will slightly reduce Super energy.
- Tormentors can push turrets away in Onslaught with their slam or grab attacks.
