Weapon Tuning in Final Shape
General Damage Adjustments
- All weapon spec mods are going away (minor, major, boss, big ones, and taken)
- Weapon damage being increased across board to compensate
- Exotic primary/ trace rifle Minor damage bonus decreased from 40% to 30% to compensate (except Fighting Lion)
Damage vs PVE combatants
- Pulses increased by 20% (except Graviton and Revision Zero heavy burst)
- Shotguns increased by 10% (except Acrius, Tractor, Conditional and Horsemen)
- Slug shottys increased by 9%
- Fusions increased by 7% (except 1K Voices)
- Snipers increased by 7% (except Honed Edge x4 and Cloudstrike storms)
- Glaive projectiles increased by 7%
- Linears increased by 5%
Damage vs Red Bars
- Stacks with the above changes
- Sidearms, Traces, Scouts, Bows increased by 20%
- Autos and Pulses increased by 15% (includes Graviton and Revision Zero heavy burst)

- Handcannons by 5%

- Kinetic weapon bonus no longer applied to Bosses
- Bonus remains for other enemy types
Burst Weapon Frames
- 2 burst weapons now called Heavy Burst
- 3 burst weapons now called Adaptive Burst
- 4 burst weapons now called Aggressive Burst
QOL Changes
- Foundry names removed from types (Veist Rapid-Fire, Hakke Precision, and Omolon Adaptive)
- Scout rifle hip-fire reticle better reflects accuracy and aim assist cones
- Crimal's Dagger and Something New getting stat buffs to better compete with Igneous
- Sniper minimum reserves increased from 14 to 17 shots
- Wave frame blast radius now impacts width, length, and height of the wave, and wave can get bigger than current system (50 stat in new system = 100 in old)
- Special ammo Wave frames have their wave length decreased from 22 to 15 meters (except Dead Messenger)
- Sword reticles updated to reflect charge state
- Fixed several issues related to sword charging, charge states, and charge rates
Exotics
- Divinity cage now requires 75% more shots to activate (except PVP)
- Rat King now uses same animation as other side arms
- Devil's Ruin animation can no longer be applied to other Sidearms when swapping weapons
- Symmetry catalyst now provides +10 reload, +10 handling, and Eddy Current, in addition to previous bonues
- Wolfpack Rounds now colored to match the damage type of Gjallarhorn and applied Legendary Rockets
- Touch of Malice darkness ball burn increased from 2 to 3.5 seconds
- Osteo Striga poison from kills now has a 4 second cooldown (bursts from sustained damage unaffected)
- Necrochasm now intrinsically provides Outlaw, and has it's Cursed Thrall explosion burn duration increased from 2 to 3.5 seconds
- Necrochasm new catalyst, "One for Thrall", grants damage, range, and aim assist bonuses for quickly damaging 3 combatants
- Lament healing effect, and high-end chained heavy damage, both reduced by 20% (still receives the general sword buff on the low end)
- DMT Cranial Spike stacks now provide a stability bonus, and gives increased reload speed
- DMT hip fire with catalyst has reduced accuracy benefits, increased magnetism, a 140 rate of fire (up from 130), and PVE damage bonus reworked to be 15% at max stacks only
- Colony now spawns up to 5 robots on final blows, depending on enemy type
- Truth now has increased AoE damage and reserve ammo increased by 3
- Queenbreaker damage vs Bosses, Minibosses, Champions, and Vehicles increased by 12% and reserve ammo increased by 3
- Cerberus+1 focus fire now activates upon Special reloads following a kill, but no longer has reduced range and rate of fire
- Bastion Saint's Fist perk reworked: melee damage increases charge rate, damage, and reload speed of Bastion, and landing a majority of pellets increases melee damage
- Eriana's Vow now ignites targets when breaking Solar shields or piercing Barrier Champion shields
- Deterministic Chaos is now anti-barrier, and perks flipped so every 4th bullet makes targets volatile and every 16th bullet weakens targets
- Fundamentals perk for Borealis, Hard Light, and Dead Messenger no longer resets damage type on death
Perks
- Alacrity no longer works in Rumble
- Archer's Gambit draw time reduced from 66% to 60% and buff duration reduced from 4 to 8 seconds (can stack up to 8s though)
- Grave Robber now actives on all melees (including powered melees)
- Chain Reaction on specials now has 15% less AoE and 20% less damage, while heavies have 30% more damage
- Eddy Current now activates in 1.5s of sprinting, provides a handling bonus and 5% scalar to other stats, and Amplified auto applies its full effect
- Underdog replaced by Pulse Monitor
- Osmosis and Permeability no longer disappear when pulling out ghost, and now also partially refill the mag
- Chill Clip slow stacks now adjusted to fit fusion rifle weapon fire rate, other archetypes unaffected
- High Ground effects now applied with kills (with High Ground kills applying max stacks), and max damage bonus increased to 25% (15% in PVP)
- Killing Tally on 21% Delirium updated to match perk on new weapons
- Osmosis and Tessellation match damage type of equipped grenade (I assume this is for Prismatic)
- Permeability and Elemental Capacitor match damage type of equipped super (I assume this is for Prismatic)
- Deconstruct now refills ammo from reserves and should trigger more reliably

New Exotic Weapons
Final Shape Enhancing
- Level up a weapons Enhancement tier to receive enhanced traits, weapon level, and memento socket
- Cores to upgrade, spoils of contest for raid weapons
- Tier 1 provides new masterwork, old masterwork becomes intrinsic, weapon level, and memento socket
- Raid weapons ONLY at Tier 1 can have columns 1 and 2 adjusted via crafting table
- Tier 2 (level 11) automatically enhances left columns perks
- Tier 3 (level 17) automatically enhances right columns perks
- The following can be enhanced: new weapons and active weapons in vow, guardian games, kings fall, gambit, competitive, trials, crucible, iron banner, vanguard ops, nightfalls, and prophecy
- Basically almost any weapons with Origin Traits though there are a few S17 weapons that won't be able to be upgraded
Mementos
- Crafted and enhanced weapons can have mementos applied directly instead of at the crafting table
- Memento caps increased from 1 to 3
- Mementos are stored on an account level and won't appear in consumables
Reduced Subclass Cost
- Fragments purchased at Ikora currently cost 25000 glimmer
- For Final Shape, price is lowering to 10000 per
Known Issues
- Capturing a zone in the Collision PvP game mode while having full super energy will slightly reduce Super energy.
- Tormentors can push turrets away in Onslaught with their slam or grab attacks.
- The Zero Deaths Triumph only unlocks when completing Zero Hour on the Legend difficulty, which should unlock on both Normal and Legend difficulties.
