Power in the Final Shape
Goals
- Power being redone to be more meaningful
- Play with friends regardless of level
- Lower barrier to entry for story content
- UI should be more intuitive
Fireteam Power
- Player in fireteam with highest power is Power Leader
- All other players brought up to 5 below Power Leader (unless within 5 already)
- Fireteam power affects activity only, while rewards still scale to normal power
- Power Leaders also get commendation earning boosts
- Adjusted powers are displayed by activity, not on your Emblem
Legacy Gear
- Power limits are being removed from Legacy gear
- Basically a reversal of sunset weapons
- The goal is still to reintroduce many of those weapons with Origin Traits and updated perk pools
Power Band Changes
- Final Shape soft cap now only takes 40 power to reach (was 150 for previous expansions)
- Soft cap can be reached with either campaign difficulty, but Legend puts you +20 above soft cap
- Contest mode is +25 above soft cap
Power Bands
- Floor: 1900
- Soft cap: 1940
- Powerful cap: 1990
- Pinnacle cap: 2000
Activity Power
- Activities now divided into simpler Power Enabled and Power Disabled cataegories
- Disabled includes campaigns, story missions, destinations, crucible, and some legacy content
- Enabled activities now show a Power Cap that is the highest effective level you can be
- UI for these activities will show if your current loadout is at that cap, as well as a enemy difficulty rating
- These activities include Vanguard playlists, Nightfalls, Exotic Rotators, Trials, Raids, and Dungeons
Difficulty Tier Renames
- Standard: 1945 Power Cap
- Advanced (prev Heroic): 1995
- Expert (prev Legend): 2005
- Master: 2010
- Grandmaster: 2020
- Contest Mode: 1965
Artifact Power
- Same core progression
- XP earned will be readjusted to balance for Episodes
Account Wide Power
- Gear now drops relative to the highest power class
- i.e. if your hunter is 1950, your 1900 warlock will receive rewards as if it were 1950 itself
- Power boosts no longer for sale, though Campaign skips remain available for Alts
Reward Power
- More activities will contribute towards getting higher level gear
- Vendor items now are bought at -3 power
- Collection items are now at -5 power
Pantheon

Hardware Supremacy

Known Issues
- Certain face markings do not appear on Exos when selected.
- The Midnight Ride quest incorrectly states players need to defeat Guardians using Hand Cannons. This objective can instead be completed by defeating enemies in raids and dungeons.
- In Onslaught, players may be teleported back to the incorrect ADU location after completing certain phases.
- Mountaintop projectiles do not pierce Barrier Champion shields.
- The Afterglow Sparrow's translucent parts disappear when certain shaders are applied.
- In Onslaught, the switches to open the door to the boss may not activate, preventing the door from opening.
- The BRAVE versions of The Recluse and Hammerhead do not highlight enemies when aiming down sights.
- Onslaught bounties requiring the completion of a pathway in Riven's Lair do not count pathways completed in The Coil.
- On rare occasions, the Spark in Onslaught can be lost.
- Onslaught turrets can target player Strand clones and Threadlings.
