PVP Strike Team Update
Comp
- Removing Survival and Countdown Rush
- Adding 3v3 Clash and Collision
- Collision objectives updated based on Labs feedback
- Both new modes will use the ammo crate system rather than the ammo meter system
- This system promotes rotating in modes with less spatial objectives
Trials
- Running special ammo experiment starting next week
- First week, all 4 special crates will spawn each round, and players will drop ammo on death
- Second week, only the 2 special crates by the spawns will spawn each round, and players will lose (not drop) ammo on death
- Third week, things return to how they were and data from these two modded weeks will be analyzed for future changes
Notswap Improvements
- Improved Notswap modifier coming to Comp and the 2 modded weeks of Trials
- Ability energy is removed when changing the ammo type of weapons in kinetic and energy slot
- Switching special to special, or primary to primary, won't be penalized
- This is mostly to penalize players who use a special weapon till empty, and then swap to a primary
Terms of Service Update
- Manipulating matchmaking via smuro accounts, third party tools, etc is now bannable
- This applies to all matchmaking systems
- Smurf is defined as "an account that has been intentionally deranked or sabotaged over a sustained period to present itself as a very low-level player for the sole purpose of manipulating matchmaking"
- This should not affect fireteams with mixed skill levels
- Initial bans and offensives will be reviewed by the team

- Increased impact damage by 40%
- Reduced disorienting grenade radius by 15%
Lightweight Bows
- Increased base damage by 6%
- Does not include Le Monarque or Wish Ender)
450 ARs
- Reduced base damage by 5%
180 Handcannons
- Increased base damage by 6%
- 2 head 2 body for low resilience
- Easier 3 tap with damage perks
140 Handcannons
- Increased body damage by 1%
- Increased crit damage by 4%
- Should make explosive payload 3 taps easier
Rapid Fire Pulses
- Increased body damage by 3.5%

Perks
- Reduced Master of Arms damage bonus from 20% to 15%
- On reload, Magnificent Howl gives 1 super round (increased range and damage) per precision kill achieved (precision kills with super rounds apply to next reload as well)
- Micro-Missile is now intrinsic to Moutaintop's frame, does less self damage, can "rocket jump", has retuned PVE damage, and slightly increased reload speed
- Permeability no longer gets stuck on Strand for The Slammer sword
Crucible Only Changes
- Primary flinch taken reduced by 15%
- Sunshot crit damage increased by 11%
- Wish Ender base damage reduced by 5%
- Corrections to total ammo received from ammo meter/ crates for some special weapons
Strand Fragments are Cheaper
- Starting with Into the Light
- Dropping fragment cost from 200 to 100 meditations
New Light Skip
- After second mission, Shaw Han allows you to sync with his ship to skip the New Light tutorial
- Players can select 3 New Light kits (1 for each subclass)
- Each kit has 2 legendary weapons, 1 exotic weapon, 4 rare armor pieces, 1 legendary class item, and a selection of Aspect and Fragments for the respective sub class
- Each kit also provides a short quest to unlock a specific exotic armor piece
- All armor will be at the Power cap
Chat Updates
- Text channels will now be auto-joined
- Players can opt in to auto-join fireteam voice chats
- Updates for chat filtering rules
Onslaught: Legend Race
- Starting at reset
- First 50 teams to complete all 50 waves on legend will receive a 7in Lord Shaxx replica Helmet
Known Issues
- Gilding the Guardian Games title, Champ, does not alter the Gilded counter.
- The Season of the Wish versions of the Dreaming City weapons are not dropping the Burnished and Blueshift Dreams shaders.
- The Last Rite Scout Rifle uses the same visual appearance as The Prophet Scout Rifle.
